Celebrate our volunteers: 2008 national volunteer awards

Our charity could not function without volunteers - they are crucial to our work. So to help celebrate them and the work they do we've created a new national award scheme to honour the very best of Victim Support and the Witness Service.

We're looking for volunteers who've really 'gone the extra mile', either in terms of the excellence of their work or their dedication. If you've been impressed by the help you've had by one of our volunteers, either as victim or as a witness of crime, then why not nominate them for an award?

Each of Victim Support's ten regions can nominate up to eight volunteers as finalists for a national ceremony to be held in London in the Autumn where a very special guest will present the awards.

You can download a copy of the nomination form here in PDF or Word versions. Closing date for entries is Friday 5 September. Completed forms should be handed in or emailed to your local office, ideally the one where the volunteer you are nominating is based. You can see a list of our branch addresses here.
