Strength Walk 2012

Strength Walk

Dust off your walking shoes and take part in a Victim Support Strength Walk to help raise funds for victims of crime in England and Wales. Anyone can get involved and it’s a great way of getting together with friends, colleagues and people in your community.

How do I get involved?

You can get involved in the Strength Walk in two ways: either by joining a planned walk or by planning your own. Take a look at some of our successful walks in 2011 on our Flickr album.

Strength Walk 2012

The proposed date is Saturday 9 June 2012. If you’d like to join a walk in your area, we can put you in touch with a walk co-ordinator - or simply have a look at the list below of upcoming walks. If there is no walk listed in your area please still get in touch as we may be working on one.

Organise a Strength Walk

Whether it’s just a few of you or a whole community you can download our walk co-ordinator’s guide to help get you started. The guide gives hints and tips on how to organise a walk, make it a success and raise money.

Posters and leaflets are available to help you promote your event, along with temporary face tattoos, stickers, balloons, t-shirts and sponsorship forms for your Strength Walk participants. Once you have your walk confirmed, please let us know so we can list it on our website to help publicise it.
