Victims' Services Alliance

The Victims' Services Alliance, a collaboration of 38 charities and organisations, has been nominated for Charity Times' 'cross-sector partnership of the year' award.

The Alliance, initiated by Victim Support which now provides its secretariat, brings together agencies from across the sector to pool their expertise and to work interdependently to represent the interests of bereaved victims.

Javed Khan, Chief Executive of Victim Support, says: "We are absolutely delighted that the Victims' Services Alliance has been nominated for a Charity Times award. The 38 organisations and agencies that form the Alliance have worked hard together to ensure that the voice of victims is heard at the highest level. This award recognises the time, effort and resources that have all contributed to help those bereaved by homicide."
