The parenting website Mumsnet has today launched Victim Support’s 'Don’t suffer twice' campaign as its Campaign of the Week (set up to support issues that Mumsnet users have indicated they care about).
The 'Don’t suffer twice' campaign is asking government to change its mind about proposed sweeping changes to how victims and witnesses of crime get help. Without proper support we could make victims suffer twice – once with the crime and again when society turns its back on them.
